PRAGUE

is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with a large number of historical sites. The unique location is crowned by the Vltava River, which flows through the city, and numerous elevations.  It is the capital city of the Czech Republic, with more than 1.2 million inhabitants. You can see virtually all architectural styles here. Take a look at the city from above. Prague boasts a thousand steeples.

GASTRONOMY
 
Czech cuisine has certain common elements with German (especially Bavarian) and Austrian cuisine.  It is tasty, but quite heavy. Czech beer is delicious.  For many, the term “Czech beer” is synonymous with the best beverage of its kind in the world. Try Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus and Budweiser.

VIENNA

the capital of Austria, situated on the river Danube. It has around 1.8 million inhabitants. Vienna’s historic centre is rich in architectural treasures, including Baroque castles and gardens, as well as the late-19th-century Ringstrasse, lined with grand buildings, monuments and parks. The Secession Movement (Art Nouveau) also has a firm place in local architecture. Prominent architects such as Otto Wagner, Josef Hoffmann, Adolf Loos and Joseph Maria Olbrich enriched the city with famous buildings such as the Secession Hall, Postal Savings Bank or Loos House at the turn of the 19th and 20th century.

GASTRONOMY

Vienna is characterised by a specific cuisine that arose during the time of the multinational monarchy, when each of the ethnic minorities added their own mark to the local menu. Hungary brought goulash and pancakes, while the Czech environment, which had the greatest impact, introduced kolache, buchteln and dumplings. Typical dishes also include Wiener Schnitzel (made from veal). Street stalls offer a large selection of frankfurters and sausages.

COPENHAGEN

is the capital and largest city in Denmark. It has just over half a million inhabitants. It is a port city on the Baltic Sea, situated on the east coast of Zealand (Sjælland) and partly Amager. Copenhagen is the seat of the Danish queen. The first mention of Copenhagen dates from the 11th century. It boasts the largest Scandinavian airport.

is the capital city and one of the federal states of the Federal Republic of Germany. It became the capital city of Germany in 1991. AMSTERDAM

Amsterdam is the capital city and the largest city in the Netherlands. However, it is not the seat of parliament, the government or the royal family; all these institutions are found in Den Haag.
